“Patience, darlin’, patience!”

So, I’m finally going to tell you the real reason I am behind on everything.  Yes, the laundry gremlin gets me from time to time.  Yes, not having the kids in school delays projects.  And yes, sometimes I’m just downright lazy.  BUT, the main reason is that my husband was overseas on business for 42 days just since June.  That’s right, 42 days.  That means I had my two little munchkins pretty much all to myself this summer (with the exception of awesome Grandparents who helped from time to time).  Don’t hold it against me that I am just now telling you about my little secret, but it just didn’t seem like a good idea to post on the internet that my husband was out of town.  Anyway, I am happy to report he is back safe and sound.

Also, my oldest daughter started Kindergarten yesterday and little sister will start pre-school in about 2 weeks.  All is finally getting back to normal in our world.  It’s still going to take me a while to get back on track, but here is a sneak peek at a few projects in the works.

So, stay tuned, Friends!  Also, bonus points to who can name the movie I quoted for the title of this blog post. “Alright, alright, alright!”
