Okay, folks. I’m super excited about a project I just completed for a client.. She actually contacted me a few weeks ago to see if I had a vintage bedside table in stock. She had impeccable timing because the piece I had for her was so new it was still sitting in the back of my car. Luckily, my client has amazing vision and saw the same potential I spotted when I first stumbled across this piece. I don’t think the pictures need any of my rambling commentary. I’ll just let the before and after photos speak for themselves…
Okay, so there will be a little rambling…
1) The color is a custom mix of Annie Sloan Chalk Paint in Duck Egg Blue and Pure White. The interior is painted Paris Grey.
2) I began shining up the hardware with Brasso, but followed up with Rub-N-Buff in Grecian Gold to get the look I wanted. That hardware was in BAD shape.
3) I’m a little worried about some of the drawings I found in the drawer. I painted it for a good reason.
4) It’s a good thing this piece is already spoken for. If it weren’t, I’d probably keep it for myself.
I love the outcome so much that I may paint these little treasures I have in stock the same way.
These will indeed be for sale…I think. 🙂
Jessica, that turned out so well! I hope you charged her a good price! Which client wanted it? It looks very cute!
