Restored Sofa Table – For Sale!

Okay folks, I have an exciting new feature to add to my blog.  Drumroll, please…….It’s a For Sale category.  I’m super pumped about this.  I have been humbled and offered so much support since I started my little blog and because of everyone’s awesomeness (is that a word?) I have decided to start selling some of my pieces.

This first piece was a lot of  fun.  A few weeks ago I acquired this Bombay Company Queen Anne styled sofa table.  It was inconspicuously hiding in a thrift store.  It was screaming 1990’s and a little rough around the edges, but I immediately had a vision as soon as I spotted it.  Not to mention, I am completely enamored with those solid brass handles. The table also happens to be very sturdy.

Here is the piece prior to it’s transformation:

And here it is after a little sanding, 2 coats of primer, and 2 coats of Benjamin Moore’s Advance Formula Paint in Cliffside Gray (high gloss).  I also shined up the hardware (which wasn’t as easy as one might think – Whew!).

I’m really tempted to keep this table for myself, but I’m starting to become a furniture hoarder. So, off to Craigslist it goes.  It would make a an excellent table behind the sofa, an entry table, a console for the hall, or even make a lovely little sideboard.  Possibilities are endless!  If interested, please contact me by responding in the comment section of my blog and I’ll get back to you right away.

Thank you to each of you for your lovely support and encouragement.  It means the world to me!
