This weekend my neighborhood had a community wide garage sale. So, with coffee in hand I got an early start this morning and perused my neighbors’ goodies. I don’t know what was more fun, finding great furniture or getting to know my neighbors. Either way, I had a ball and acquired some great pieces.
The first purchase I made was this amazing chifferobe.
Isn’t it fantastic? I adore those little labels and the hardware is priceless. After it gets a face lift, I envision it in a child’s nursery or even as a coat closet in someone’s entry. Or, what about a costume/dress up closet for children? So many possibilities! It will be a little while before I can start working on this gem of a piece, so if anyone is interested in buying it please let me know. I can either leave it as is or paint it according to your own color scheme.
I also found this bookshelf.
It’s a sturdy little piece and I really like the beadboard detail. I plan to freshen it up with a new coat of paint and change out the knob. This could be used as a stand alone piece or as a night stand. If anyone is interested in the piece, it can also be customized.
Stay tuned for future updates!
Great finds! I can’t wait to see what you end up doing with the chifferobe!
